No one likes waiting two years (or longer) for a season of television when we’re passionate about the show (a problem even Doctor Who has faced of late.) But there are reasons that a dozen episodes of TV take much longer to produce today than the 26-episode seasons we enjoyed a few decades back. We’ll talk about the ever-increasing production schedules, why we should continue to expect the delays… and even how best to cope with the long wait.
