We’ll dive into many examples of this – from the fans who recorded early episodes on audio tape or took “telesnaps” off air for future reference, to fans who made it their mission to save the show from cancellation (“Doctor in Distress,” anyone?), and fans who even became professionals to make the show again, in TV movie, audio and eventually episodic television form – to determine just how much we owe them for what we view today.
