About me
I've taught abroad in Japan and Saudi Arabia. Since I returned home in 2017, I have mainly taught at a community college in Sacramento where quite a few of our students are refugees from areas where the U.S. military has been deployed or immigrants from places that happen to be at war at the moment. Showing understading during tought times is important, though it is a little hard to communicate warmth on Zoom.
On a lighter note, on Twitter I don't tweet so much about ESL teaching or politics... I stick to sports.
