Building a Better Screwdriver
Friday February 14, 2025 10:00am - 11:00am PST
It’s the prop that keeps on giving: the Doctor’s deus ex machina in screwdriver form. What should the trusty sonic screwdriver be able to do… and what shouldn’t it solve? Which sonics look, sound and feel the best? Our panel will discuss the many versions of the sonic screwdriver, and come up with our own ideas of what the best version might be.

This panel will discuss the coming of regeneration for each incarnation of our favorite Time Lord, how they cope with it, and the differences between each portrayal… and how that bodes for their next persona.
